Job summary

Volt is hiring a Paint Robotics Technician in Georgetown, KY. You will program industrial robots for automated paint applications, run trials, adjust parameters, and inspect paint quality.

You will also document processes and provide handover data for NAMCs across North America. The ideal candidate has hands-on robotics experience with Kawasaki, Fanuc, or Yaskawa and prior automated paint shop exposure, plus PLC and CAD software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 2+ years technical degree / equivalent work experience.
• Experience programming Kawasaki, Fanuc, or Yaskawa robots is preferred.
• Experience in automated robotic paint shop environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Program industrial robots for automated paint applications (Sealer, Primer, Base, Clearcoat).
• Run trial runs, adjust parameters, and inspect paint quality using instruments.
• Create process handover documents and snapshots for NAMCs in North America.
