Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our retail stores in Kansas. You will assist customers in person and by phone, identify needs, and recommend Sherwin-Williams products to meet those needs.

You will help with tinting, stocking, and ensuring displays are attractive while driving sales. Responsibilities include processing transactions, meeting sales goals, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal employees must meet Sherwin-Williams performance criteria.
• Completion of HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, present products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately according to policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, yearly.
• Maintain accurate work orders and product formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix as needed.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, and clean equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock, presentable areas and discuss options.
• Stay knowledgeable on products and inventory procedures.
• Suggest improvements to drive sales.
