Job summary

Elite, a global automotive manufacturing partner, is seeking a Production Group Leader for second-shift Paint operations in West Point, GA. You will supervise Team Leaders, oversee daily production activities, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets are met.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in manufacturing, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and are willing to work onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably automotive.
• 1–2 years in related production or operational area.
• Previous leadership or team-lead experience.
• Ability to work second shift and overtime as needed.
• Onsite work in West Point, GA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity; drive daily improvements.
• Direct multiple Team Leaders and production zones.
• Maintain established work standards and procedures.
• Coach, train and develop team members and leaders.
• Promote first-time quality and address defects early.
• Manage budget targets and identify cost-improvement opportunities.
• Communicate performance and staffing needs to management.
