Job summary

ERS ELITE is partnering with a prestigious global automotive manufacturing organization to identify a Production Group Leader for second-shift Paint operations at a major facility in West Point, Georgia.

The role leads Team Leaders, oversees daily production activities, and ensures safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate has manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in an automotive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• 1–2 years in a related production or operational area.
• Previous leadership or team-lead experience.
• Ability to work onsite in West Point, Georgia.
• Experience with safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity while supporting daily improvement activities.
• Direct multiple Team Leaders and their respective production zones.
• Maintain compliance with IATF/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Promote first-time quality and prevent defects from advancing.
• Motivate, train, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Communicate production performance and staffing needs to management.
