Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join our Paint team in Denton, Texas. The role involves working on projects and reports including time and efficiency studies to improve throughput and labor, and analysis of incoming material defects to optimize flow.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering and possess strong technical, verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering program enrollment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Time and efficiency studies to improve throughput and reduce labor.
• Analyze incoming material defects and recommend flow improvements.
• Develop and document plant assembly processes.
• Support paint flow enhancements for higher volumes.
• Address special projects as they arise.
