Job summary

ExacTech, an indoor metal fabrication shop, is adding a Paint Prepper to our 1st shift team in Wisconsin. You will prepare items for paint such as steel beams and other steel parts for large lifting machines used in marine and industrial applications.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday 6:45AM-10:45AM (1/2 day Fridays). Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid disability and PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to wear a full body garment.
• Must be able to be fitted for and wear a respirator.
• Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the entire shift.
• Flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Tagging Parts with location and painting instructions
• Brush Painting smaller parts and areas that need touch up
• Sanding parts before after Industrial Painting
• Forklift Operation to move parts around the shop
• Overhead Crane Operating for our larger parts
• General Clean Up
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
