Chapter 2, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Paint Prepper to prepare surfaces for painting, spraying, coating, and finishing. You will tape, mask, prime, and assist with material handling, paint mixing, and cleaning of equipment.

Perform work directly related to the preparation of product for painting, spraying, coating and/or finishing. Prepare surfaces for painting using techniques such as sanding, blasting, grinding. Final material preparation including taping, masking and/or priming. May assist with materials handling, paint mixing, equipment cleaning, and light painting and some post finishing as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Including but not limiting, move, measure, clean, tape and sand parts to prepare for painting, shipping, etc.
• Communicate and coordinate with other Paint staff and employees, for:
  • forecasting inventory supply and demand
  • scheduled parts
  • assignments and projects
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein; this includes assisting other departments as needed, based on workload and productivity.
• To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.

Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual, able to work independently and well with others. Must have excellent attendance record! Heavy lifting and standing is required.
