Job summary

Dakota Bodies, LLC in Watertown, SD is hiring for a Paint Prep/Wash/Caulking role. You will wash, mask, sand and caulk product per instructions, move items to the paint booth, and remove tape and paper after drying while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

First shift starts at $18 per hour; second shift at $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Preferred: Technical education courses or training through trade schools or the U.S. Armed Forces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for painting by washing, masking, sanding and caulking according to instructions.
• Move product to the paint booth and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Remove all tape and paper after drying and support related duties as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

May be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs regularly. Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling and/or standing. Must wear ASTM 2413 Steel-Toe/Composite-Toe footwear, ear plugs, safety glasses, goggles, masks with protective lenses, and any other required equipment to prevent burns, eye injuries, and injury from falling objects.
