Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a paint prepper in an auto body shop preferred.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the vehicle for paint by sanding and removing imperfections.
• Taping off components where paint should not be applied.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

As a Paint Prepper,you willbe responsible forsupporting our paint technicians. In this position,you will prepare various auto parts for the paint application process andensurequality work has been completed.

• Taping off components where paint should not beapplied
• Assistin the application andpreparationof paint after repair work iscomplete
• Request necessarymaterials
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workarea

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a paint prepper in an auto body shop preferred
• Must be at least 18 years ofage
• HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification stronglypreferred
• Ability to effectively communicate withothers
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and workorders
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-pacedenvironments
• Must be able to wear arespirator

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel andpull
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending,andsquatting to complete or inspectrepairs
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination tooperateequipment
