Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician in Union Grove, WI to support production teams. You will perform paint prep, masking, sanding, and surface preparation to ensure proper coating adhesion, while maintaining safety and quality on a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule.

The role requires about 1 year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ~1 year of related experience (or equivalent).
• Must pass a respirator fit test.
• No facial hair on cheeks for respirator fit.

Responsibilities

• Paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping.
• Surface cleaning for coating adhesion.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to spec.
• Hang/remove parts on paint racks.
• Apply non-skid coatings.
• Remove overspray and ensure final quality.
• Operate forklift to move/materials.
• Assist with minor assembly and small wiring tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety and environmental policies.
