Intermountain Electronics in Price, UT, is seeking a Paint Operations Assistant for the Day Shift to support the paint department. The role involves preparing equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while assisting with painting and related tasks.

The position may offer opportunities to advance to an Industrial Painter as you develop skills in operating paint equipment and applying coatings. A 40-hour work week with potential overtime is typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 20–100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with groups and individuals.
• Basic math calculations and measurement skills.
• OSHA forklift and overhead crane certifications or ability to obtain.
• Able to operate and work around machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and components for painting and handle materials.
• Lift and hang parts onto racks for cleaning and painting.
• Operate pressure washer and various forklifts as needed.
• Operate overhead crane and wear respirator when required.
• Prepare and clean surfaces and complete painting to OEM standards.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety programs.
• Assist Final Assembly with electrical components when required.
