Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Paint Operations Assistant for the Weekend Shift at our Price, Utah facility. You will support the paint department by preparing equipment, materials, and work areas for industrial painting operations, with training and growth opportunities available.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in industrial painting, equipment handling, and safety procedures, while reporting to the Paint Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of at least the 10th grade required.
• Up to one month of related work experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and components for painting by cleaning, washing, masking, taping, caulking, vacuuming, and hanging parts.
• Load and unload components onto paint racks.
• Operate pressure washing equipment and forklifts/overhead cranes.
• Wear respirator and other PPE as required.
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces to OEM quality standards.
• Assist with disassembly, cleaning, and minor equipment repairs.
