Job summary

LG Electronics North America seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee production lines and drive continuous improvement across multiple departments. You will coach a high-performance team, enforce Jeong-do Management principles, and strengthen a culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

The role emphasizes 5S, lean practices, and people-oriented leadership to deliver consistent results and employee satisfaction in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years previous management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration.
• Six Sigma lean manufacturing knowledge and experience.
• Analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with metal stamps, injection mold, and paint systems is preferred.
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory levels are sufficient to support production across all assembly lines.
• Identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality and employee engagement.
• Understand KPIs that support business growth and monitor performance.
• Maintain high levels of 5S in all production departments.
• Lead safety and quality programs and ensure a safe working environment.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and coach a high-performance team.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
• Set and monitor product standards and evaluate samples during processing.
• Coordinate maintenance procedures for facilities and equipment.
