The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring for a production technician in Columbus, OH to set up, run, and maintain manufacturing equipment for paint and coatings. You will mix liquids, monitor quality, and keep a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Key duties include operating control systems and pumps, handling materials, recording production data, and collaborating with teams to meet orders on schedule. Schedule: D Shift 6:00pm–6:00am (2-2-3).

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution facilities preferred.
• Experience monitoring gauges and indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Experience blending or mixing raw materials in an industrial batch process.

Responsabilités

• Operate paint‑making control systems and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prebatch and inspect tickets.
• Operate all drop stations and meters (water, TiO2, slurry, etc.).
• Follow batch slip instructions and monitor batch to obtain proper grind or mix.
• Measure tanks for yield and monitor materials for quality.
• Maintain logs and production records; report breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete orders on time.
