Job summary

Axalta in Dublin, VA is seeking a Paint Mixer/Cabinet Loader to safely produce and supply materials. The role involves operating pumps, scales, mix machines, and day/bulk tanks while following SOPs and participating in safety, training, and housekeeping programs.

The position offers a Monday to Friday 5 AM - 1:30 PM schedule with overtime potential, and the compensation is $20 per hour plus benefits. Flexibility for occasional weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Follow detailed written procedures and documentation.
• Basic computer skills for operating computer-controlled equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, scales, mix machines, and day/bulk tanks safely and efficiently.
• Load tanks and move finished product into drums, totes, or pails.
• Maintain FIFO racks and stock materials up to 75 lbs.
• Perform in-process quality checks (dirt checks, viscosity).
• Label containers per SOP, customer and DOT requirements.
• Support lean manufacturing and participate in housekeeping and 5S.
