Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Paint Mixer/Cabinet Loader in Dublin, VA to safely mix materials and support production. You will operate pumps, scales, and mix machines, load tanks and containers, and ensure quality during in-process tests.

The role requires following SOPs, maintaining 5S standards, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime and weekend work based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must follow detailed written procedures and documentation.
• Must maintain safety standards and wear required PPE.
• Basic computer skills for operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely (pumps, scales, mix machines, tanks).
• Load tanks and pails and manage material handling.
• Perform in-process quality checks and documentation.
• Fill and label containers per SOP and DOT requirements.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and lean manufacturing practices.
• Support equipment maintenance and process changes as needed.
