• Dependable and organized with clear communication and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Mix paint for daily production using approved formulas and procedures, weighing materials accurately and labeling each mix.
• Spray color panels and hits used as references for color and appearance.
• Create spray-out cards for color matching and document results with the Paint Materials Lead.
• Assist with color adjustments and record approved formulas, mixes, and panel IDs.
• Coordinate with painters and the Lead to prioritize requests and flag material or color issues.
• Keep color standard panels and stored materials organized and easy to retrieve.
• Monitor inventory levels and report needs to support ordering and reduce waste.
• Clean and maintain mixing and spray equipment and maintain 6S standards in mixing rooms.

Paint Materials Assistant Responsibilities: Paint Materials Assistant Responsibilities:

• Mix paint for daily production using approved formulas and procedures, accurately weighing materials, following mixing ratios, and clearly labeling each mix for its intended job.
• Spray color panels that serve as the production floor's reference for color and appearance.
• Spray color hits and spray-out cards for color matching, review results with the Paint Materials Lead, and repeat as directed.
• Assist with color adjustments under the Lead's direction and document approved formulas, mixes, and panel identification.
• Coordinate with painters and the Lead to prioritize requests and raise material or color concerns before they affect production.
• Organize, label, and maintain color standard panels and stored materials so they're easy to find and retrieve.
• Monitor material levels, report inventory needs, and track paint usage to support ordering and reduce waste.
• Clean and maintain mixing and spray equipment, and keep mixing rooms and storage areas organized to CPV's 6S standards.
• Follow PPE, material handling, storage, and waste disposal procedures, and participate in safety and painter meetings.

Requirements for Paint Materials Assistant:
