Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Paint & Finish worker for a Fort Madison, IA manufacturing company. This 2nd and 3rd shift role offers potential for hire and requires the ability to perform surface preparation, finishing, and quality inspections on wind turbine blades.

You will apply coatings, sealants, and paint materials, sand and prepare surfaces, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following work instructions and production schedules.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing goals.

Position Title: Paint & Finish Wage: $22.00 per hour Shift: 2nd, 3rd Hours: 2:10pm-10:40pm; 10:20pm-6:20am QPS Employment Group has a great Paint & Finish position available at a company in Fort Madison, IA. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Paint & Finish Responsibilities

Paint & Finish Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive repair, finishing, painting, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and techniques.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
• Comfortable working with hands‑on tools and materials for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the production process.
