Job summary

The Toro Company, through its Ditch Witch Perry facility, seeks a Paint Manufacturing Engineer to lead the paint finishing operation on site. You will supervise painters and maintenance, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations while driving uptime and quality.

You will coordinate maintenance, evaluate capital needs, and work with production, engineering, and outside vendors to implement improvements in finishing quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or similar.
• 5-8 years in manufacturing systems and processes.
• 2-4 years in paint finishing technology.
• Strong computer background and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of paint finishing equipment and direct reports.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to maintain 99% uptime.
• Evaluate equipment needs and justify capital expenditures.
• Manage budgets for supplies, paint, chemicals, and repairs.
• Ensure regulatory reporting for EPA and other agencies.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and parts.
• Train personnel on equipment operation and safety.
• Monitor QA testing and process parameters.
• Maintain paint SOPs and production tooling.
