Job summary

• Review material quality and completeness upon arrival in the paint department. Mix, color match, and prep each sign prior to finishing.
• Complete all operations as outlined in the work order.
• Efficiently manage and maintain paint material inventory.
• Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.
• Participate in production meetings and collaborate with the team.
• Work in alignment with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with the shop floor advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed.

The Paint Manager will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, managing several tasks at once, and will work closely with internal leadership team and personnel. The position requires high attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to products being finished to the standards set forth internally and of our customers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review material quality and completeness upon arrival in the paint department.  Mix, color match, and prep each sign prior to finishing.
• Complete all operations as outlined in the work order.
• Efficiently manage and maintain paint material inventory.
• Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.  Participate in production meetings and collaborate with the team.
• Work in alignment with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.  Perform work specified on the work order efficiently.
• Communicate with the shop floor advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed.
