Job summary

Thatcher's Ace Hardware is seeking an outgoing team member to manage our Paint Department. You will greet customers, help them find what they need for their projects in a single visit, and contribute to top-selling paint sales.

The role includes developing and growing sales with customers and contractors, ordering department stock, supervising team members, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. We support work-life balance and community focus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a paint department is preferred.

• You will work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• You will be responsible for developing and growing sales through building customer and contractor relationships
• You will be responsible for ordering products for the department
• You will assist in supervising employees working in your department
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and helpful team member to manage our Paint Department. Previous experience in a paint department is preferred. You will be helping to manage the department with the highest Benjamin Moore paint sales in the State of Oregon!
