Northwest Hardware Co Inc., your local Ace Hardware neighbor in Hickory, NC, is hiring friendly team members who welcome customers and help with home projects. No previous hardware experience is required; we provide extensive training to turn beginners into confident associates who can assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment.

This fast-paced, community-focused role offers upbeat teamwork, ongoing learning, and opportunities to grow while making a real difference

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is valued but not required; extensive training provided.
• Be friendly and helpful to assist customers with their projects.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them with their home projects.
• Help customers find products and information to complete their projects.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels; assist with shelving and merchandising.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

What to expect:

• You'll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You'll be on your feet for most of your shift (8 to 10 hours).
• You must be able to lift 40 lbs.
