JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $24.50 per hour plus $2.50 shift differential

Night Shift 6PM - 6AM rotating shift

Employment Benefits start on day 1

Weekly Pay

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leads by example in performance of all job functions, including demonstration of safe work habits and adherence to established procedures
2. Monitor employees in the work area to ensure expectations are being met
3. Troubleshoot problems as they arise and take prompt corrective or preventative actions to ensure consistent operation of equipment and flow of material within the department
4. Lead daily pre-shift activities including toolbox meetings, stretching exercises, review of safety/quality alerts, and conduct safety meetings as applicable
5. Coordinate employee activities to ensure departmental productivity, quality, scrap, and safety goals are achieved
6. Assist department supervision with incident investigations, employee evaluations, and coordination of activities between shifts and across departments
7. Maintains the CCL data base, entering new codes and colors
8. Imports shift logs and keeps daily records of attendance, delays, change over times, pounds run, etc
9. Inspects the coating lines daily, including waste inspections, housekeeping, etc
10. Writes work orders for improvements and line break downs
11. Maintains the CCL Kanban boards, multi-width stores and paint stores, ensuring that the proper amount of paint and painted metal are available to meet customer demand

Qualifications

1. 2+ years Manufacturing Lead experience required
2. Machine Operator experience required
3. Forklift experience required
4. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require
5. Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance
6. Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player
7. Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift weight amount as indicated on job specific functional capacity evaluation
8. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
9. Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods
10. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with people
11. Extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walking
12. Required personal protective equipment, tugger, overhead crane, carts, dollies and some hand tools
13. Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times
14. Additionally, the proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each Associate’s performance appraisal
