Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a paint line technician in Gaffney, SC. The role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing paint patterns, and minimizing material loss while maintaining high-quality parts.

The position requires 3+ years of paint line/equipment experience, LOTO and forklift training, and a strong safety mindset. 1st shift operates Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with benefits starting day 1.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of paint line/equipment experience.
• Able to perform duties of all positions in paint area.
• Good knowledge of paint equipment and processes.
• Good knowledge of hand tools and hands-on maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment and monitors paint patterns and efficiencies.
• Submits quality start-ups and improves paint process stability.
• Operates and maintains paint and secondary equipment; performs preventive maintenance.
• Ensures safety and reports issues to supervisor.
• Provides guidance to maintenance personnel on malfunctions.
• Performs 5S zone leadership and weekly team meetings.
