Job summary

Jost in Greeneville, Tennessee, seeks a Paint Line Painter Tier 1 to load and unload the paint line and participate in powder painting during breaks. You will assist the Paint Line Technician with titrations and chemical adjustments in the washer and wastewater system.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance of paint line equipment, startup and shutdown procedures, and inspection of final painted parts, with safety and quality policies guiding daily work.

Qualifications

• Experience with conveyors and loading/unloading parts.
• Familiarity with chemical adjustments is a plus.
• Industrial powder or E-Coat experience desired.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts to conveyor.
• Perform preventive maintenance on paint line systems.
• Assist titrations and chemical adjustments in washer/wastewater system.
• Powder painting including hand spraying in Faraday areas.
• Start up/shut down paint system.
• Inspect final painted parts.
