JOB REQUIREMENTS: $3,000 Sign on Bonus! 4-10 hour days - Tuesday through Friday

EK is looking for a quick-learning, full-time material handler to assist our painting and powder coating team. If you like working with people, can easily follow instructions, and are dedicated to consistent and quality work, then we want you to put your skills to good use with our team of expert manufacturers.

Who We Are: EK is an in-demand contract manufacturing company with two major divisions: Our Complete Manufacturing division crafts complex parts and assemblies through expert fabrication, welding, powder coating, machining, assembly, and testing in state-of-the-art facilities. Our Power Products division designs, develops, produces, and tests generator packaging solutions for demanding environments. What you’ll be responsible for:

• Safely operating industrial forklifts or electric hoists to load or move materials to the paint department.
• Following instructions from your team lead or supervisor regarding job or pallet placement.
• Using math, language, reading, and basic computer skills as needed.
• Following proper equipment operation and record-keeping procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicating effectively between departments.
• Attaching tags and labels to materials accurately.
• Assisting the paint line supervisor or leadsperson with other duties as required.
• Loading and unloading parts onto the paint line as instructed.

What will make you a strong candidate:

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• High attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
