Job summary

Life Fitness is seeking a quality-focused candidate to hang weldments on the paint line and inspect for quality. Duties include pulling units from inventory, hanging configurations, and performing Oracle transactions. Ideal candidates will communicate effectively in English and have at least a high school diploma or GED.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 - $22.75 per hour, eligibility for overtime, and various benefits including a 401(k) plan and health insurance.

Job description

Job Purpose

Hang weldments on paint line and inspect for quality.

Essential Duties

• Pulling units from Black Inventory into paint stage
• Properly hang configurations of weldments onto paint line per hang patterns.
• Inspect parts for quality (missing or inadequate welds, weld spatter, etc.).
• Remove dirty hooks for reconditioning as needed.
• Perform Oracle transactions.
• Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents or injuries to supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak and understand).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Push/pull up to 25 lbs.
• Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary.
• Operate hoist, sander and grinder.

Compensation & Benefits

Base wage $20.00 - $22.75 per hour with eligibility for overtime. Production Bonus Plan available.
