Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a Paint Helper for the GEMA Paint System to kit, load/unload and package parts for the paint line. You will help ensure quality, maintain housekeeping and support line operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Prefer knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Experience painting on a moving line in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Lean manufacturing exposure.
• Understanding of metric and standard measurement systems.
• Demonstrated detail orientation and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Confirm job order and material selections. Report shortages.
• Tape and mask parts for coating.
• Hang parts uniformly on conveyer for cleaning and powder painting.
• Assist with assembly on line as needed.
• Inspect coated parts for coating thickness using gauges.
• Keep paint hooks clean and area organized.
• Document production and quality records as required.
• Follow safety rules and report quality concerns.
