Qualifications

• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements at all times.
• Operate spray equipment and adjust to produce quality parts.
• Follow paint procedures including gun distance, flow and air pressure.
• Prepare surfaces and apply masking where needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety rules.
• Operate gun, pump and other equipment to produce quality parts economically.
• Follow proper paint procedures including distance from gun to part, flow rates, air pressure and overlap.
• Mask areas not to be coated and prepare surfaces as needed.
• May operate E-coat system load control panel and select coating liquids.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and work overtime as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and rack, inspect, transfer parts as required.
• Handle, transfer and label hazardous waste per training.
