MANITOU Group in Yankton, SD, seeks a Production Team Lead Trainee to oversee training within the department and support the Production Supervisor. The role involves coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and developing leadership skills in a hands-on environment.

You will train staff, support process improvements, and maintain quality and performance standards while collaborating with multiple departments. The position requires strong attendance and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience as a high-performing operator.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead and train in a manufacturing setting.

Responsabilités

• Work with team leader and production supervisor to improve operations for safety, quality, cost, and lead time.
• Teaches and trains employees; sets up stations and provides instructions in methods/work processes.
• Motivate teammates to achieve maximum quality and productivity.
• Assist in collecting, reporting and evaluating quality and productivity data.
• Ensure personnel have required parts, materials, and training to meet production goals.
• Develop, implement and analyze training plans with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
