Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is seeking a Production Lead in Watertown, SD to assist in developing, training, and evaluating both seasonal and full-time employees. You will expedite orders, report production metrics, and maximize resources while reducing scrap. You may act in the supervisor’s absence and support safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Experience in manufacturing leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read assembly drawings.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day issues to meet production, safety, shipping and quality goals.
• Train and maintain training sheets for all employees; recommend advancement.
• Complete production, scrap, and rework reports.
• Support disciplinary reviews and merit increases for staff.
• Execute scheduled work orders to meet customer needs.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and delegate daily tasks.
• Record daily attendance for seasonal and full-time staff.
• Assist supervisor in incident investigations and reporting.
