Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Corona, CA is seeking a Paint Handle Cleaning Team Lead to manage the chemical paint-handle stripping line and ensure safe, efficient production of clean handles for Fender’s manufacturing process. You will train staff, oversee chemical handling, and coordinate with Maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating cleaning/paint-stripping equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely handle regulated materials and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and safely operate chemical paint-handle stripping equipment.
• Monitor and clean soak and wash tanks to maintain operation.
• Produce clean, defect-free paint handles for production.
• Train employees on equipment operation and chemical handling.
• Ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate daily with Maintenance on performance and issues.
• Order and maintain required chemicals and supplies.
• Maintain 5S standards and clean work area.
