Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Corona, CA is seeking a Polisher to join the Buff & Polish team. You will buff, polish, and inspect guitar bodies and necks to meet cosmetic and quality standards while working with hand and machine tools.

The role requires keen attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to follow work instructions in a high-volume production environment. Prior polishing or manufacturing experience is preferred, and guitar familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience or polishing experience.
• Ability to buff and polish parts to detailed cosmetic and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, hand dexterity, and ability to identify surface and finish defects.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and established procedures.
• Guitar or musical background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Buff and polish guitar bodies and necks.
• Polish finished parts to cosmetic and quality standards.
• Inspect parts for scratches, burns, defects or finish imperfections.
• Identify and correct defects and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain safe handling of finished components and keep area clean.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Communicate production status and issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with team to ensure production flow.
