Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Corona, CA is seeking a Sander to join our sanding pre/post paint production process. The Sander will sand and semi-finish electric guitar bodies, inspect quality, and maintain a clean workstation.

You will follow detailed procedures, meet hourly targets, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow while upholding safety standards.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in sanding, woodworking, carpentry, or a related manufacturing field preferred.
• Experience in a production environment or finishing process strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Sand electric guitar and bass bodies using a variety of sandpaper grades in circular and up/down motions.
• Identify and correct minor surface irregularities using glue, filler, and sanding techniques.
• Follow detailed sanding procedures to meet quality finish standards.
• Inspect all incoming and outgoing product for flaws or defects.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow throughout the sanding process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Meet hourly production targets while ensuring quality control.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on process improvements or material issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.
