Job summary

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity for a Paint Foreman to be an integral part of our team. Responsibilities
  • Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
  • Assess equipment, materials, and labor needed for large or complex preparation and painting activities to ensure maintenance activities meet district standards and resolve defined issues while reducing wasted resources.
  • Assist in selecting training and in‑service programs for maintenance staff to convey information and ensure employees understand safety regulations and department procedures.
  • Collaborate with managers, contractors, vendors, and other parties to implement and maintain services.
  • Direct assigned painting staff in resolving complex and/or difficult preparation and painting projects.
  • Maintain manual and electronic files and records to provide up‑to‑date reference and comply with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Maintain assigned tools, supplies, equipment, and vehicle(s) to ensure availability as needed to meet assigned maintenance objectives.
  • Prepare a variety of program‑mandated documents and reports (e.g., work orders) to document activities and comply with company and/or legal requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Provide training to personnel as required.
  • Perform a wide variety of (and sometimes complex) preparation and painting activities to ensure maintenance issues are resolved and projects are completed in a safe, effective, and timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Experience: 4+ years in Commercial/Industrial Painting; minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office.
  • Certification/License: None specifically required.
