RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Paint Engineer in our Newbern, TN. This is a 2nd Shift role.

Overview

The Paint Engineer is responsible for maintaining paint line quality, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This position ensures alignment with customer specifications and provides technical leadership to the second-shift paint team.

What you Will do in Your Role
  • Program and troubleshoot Fanuc paint robots.
  • Monitor and improve daily FTQ performance on 2nd shift.
  • Analyze KPI data to identify trends and reduce scrap.
  • Implement and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments and shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer paint specifications.
  • Mentor and support technical development of 2nd shift paint technicians.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics and paint programming
  • Experience with bell and gun paint applications
  • Knowledge of paint quality metrics and defect reduction strategies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • Experience with automation, electrical, or PLCs.
