Job summary

blueStone Solutions Group in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Paint Production Engineer to lead development and implementation of new materials, colors, and technologies in our Paint Department.

You will drive color evaluations, manage trials, set process controls, and ensure quality across Body Paint and Bumper Paint operations, onsite with occasional travel to nearby regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • Expertise in color and appearance evaluations.
  • Hands-on experience in a paint shop or automotive manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of new color and material trials.
  • Conduct lab workability and on-line testing for innovative materials.
  • Establish process controls and parameters for new technologies.
  • Drive problem-solving efforts across multiple divisions.
  • Assess environmental impacts of new materials and technologies.

Your Impactful Role:

As a Paint Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Paint Department, driving the development and implementation of new materials, colors, and technologies. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our Body Paint and Bumper Paint Departments, ensuring top-notch quality and performance. This position is 100% onsite in Georgetown, KY, with opportunities for travel to Mexico and Canada.
