Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring an SWDS Driver to deliver products from company stores using company vans or pickups. You will ensure orders are accurate, loaded correctly, and delivered safely while maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading, route adherence, and handling paperwork, with opportunities to work closely with warehouse tasks and tinting activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs. and handle heavy items with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have a “meets expectations” rating on the most recent appraisal.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete required forms and documentation.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report any repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints.
• Follow assigned routes and maintain schedules.
• Comply with transportation laws and keep a good driving record.
• Prepare delivery reports and related documents.
• Operate equipment such as cars, vans, or trucks; forklifts as needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders.
