Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a delivery driver responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and delivered safely and on time, while maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will load orders, operate equipment, and perform warehouse duties; you must meet DOT MEC requirements and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid DOT MEC or be willing to obtain within 5 business days of offer.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Must read and communicate in English well enough to interact with customers and complete reports.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a meets expectations rating and completed HR eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on time.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and report repairs to supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer questions or complaints.
• Adhere to routes and schedules and comply with transportation laws.
• Prepare delivery reports and related documents.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties including tinting and mixing customer orders.
