Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from our stores to customers, ensuring orders are loaded correctly and delivered safely. You will interact with customers, maintain vehicle condition, and follow all routes and schedules.

The role requires a valid driver's license, DOT MEC, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and availability for evenings/weekends. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for customer interaction and report documentation.
• Internal employees must have a 'meets expectations' rating and HR Cloud eLearning completion.
• Preferred: High School diploma, 1 year delivery driver experience, and material handling equipment experience.
• Preferred: Spanish language ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to routes and schedules and follow transportation laws.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties and tinting/mixing tasks as needed.
