Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport products from our Midlothian store to customers, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely deliveries. You will load orders, follow routes, and provide excellent service while maintaining equipment and completing reports.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, legally eligible to work in the US, with a valid license and MEC or willingness to obtain one within five days. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) for DOT purposes or be willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and complete reports.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have at least a 3 rating on recent appraisal.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck and ensure deliveries meet customer requirements.
• Complete required forms and prepare delivery reports.
• Deliver items safely and on time while adhering to routes and schedules.
• Maintain store vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer questions or complaints.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts as needed.
• Perform warehouse duties and assist with tinting and mixing customer orders.
