Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Columbus, GA is seeking Store Associates to help customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and recommend the right Sherwin-Williams products. You will also resolve concerns and ensure high product quality and store visuals while meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, and supporting deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and product inventories.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse and tint/mix to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Assist in deliveries and loading/unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable about products and discuss available options.
