Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is hiring a Store Sales Associate in Avon, IN. You will help retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing, while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; pass background and physical.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing and support.
• Flexible hours as needed by business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lb occasionally and 40–60 lb routinely; standing and movement.
• Ability to operate a hand truck or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
