Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions while meeting sales goals.

You will handle transactions, stock shelves, tint and mix products, assist with deliveries, and stay knowledgeable about features to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves loading/unloading trucks, maintaining shelves, and following inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to retrieve material and lift up to 50 lbs, up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products/services.
• Build trusted relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and inventory.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix as needed.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries.
