Job summary

Phoenix Customs in Mapleton, Utah, is seeking a skilled Paint & Body Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. You will prime, paint, and buff cars, and work toward show-quality finishes. The role requires experience with dent repair, panel alignment, and keeping detailed logs of daily work.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years of experience as a paint & body technician
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must be willing to learn new skills that apply to full restorations

Responsibilities

• Mask the cars up for priming
• Spray primers and base/clear paints
• Color sand and buff the final paint jobs for a show quality finish
• Black sand primers and filler to make the cars straight
• Be able to align sheet metal
• Metal straighten dented panels with minimal filler
• Reassemble complete vehicles
• Keep logs of the work performed daily and any issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Pay is dependent on experience
