Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems- Heavy Equipment Group is seeking a Manufacturing Painter Blaster for our Rhinelander, WI team. The role involves applying protective coatings to structural materials using spray painting and blasting equipment, while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout production.

You will prepare parts, mix paints, and operate spray guns and blast equipment, with opportunities to mentor teammates and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Industrial Manufacturing Painter or related role.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless, pressure pot, or wire spray.
• Operate blaster safely to production schedule and perform routine maintenance.
• Prepare parts per shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning surfaces.
• Understand different paints/materials and how to mix.
• Maintain high quality standards and work as a team player.
• Demonstrate basic blueprint reading and spray equipment upkeep.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our Rhinelander, WI Team!
The Painter Blaster operates spray painting and blasting equipment to apply protective coatings to structural materials. Consistently maintains high quality, meets or exceeds routed hours and leads and demonstrates safety in the workplace.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Must be able to apply all zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless and pressure pot or wire spray
• Operate blaster safely to production schedule and perform all general maintenance
• Prep parts according to shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning designated surfaces with no assistance
• Understands different types of paints and materials applied and how to mix
• Maintains the highest standards of quality
• Functions as team player with co-workers and mentor others
• Basic blueprints skills
• Ability to rebuild spray guns/paint pots and airless spray machine without assistance
• Must obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications
• Must properly utilize paint, environmental, and waste stream data sheets
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as an Industrial Manufacturing Painter, Industrial Coatings Painter Blaster, or Automotive Painter strongly desired

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
• Long periods of standing
