Job summary

Mueller Water Products, a leading water infrastructure manufacturer, seeks a Machine Operator for the Paint and Blast department in Kimball, TN. You will play a key role in surface preparation and coating processes to ensure durable finishes for critical water system components.

The role requires reading blueprints and work orders, operating blasting and painting equipment, and maintaining safety and quality records in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools for inspection.
• Strong commitment to safety in industrial/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Spray prepared surfaces with primers or coatings as specified.
• Monitor painting operations and correct defects.
• Read job orders and inspect workpieces to determine procedures.
• Apply masking material prior to painting for proper coverage.
• Operate blast booth equipment to remove rust and old coatings.
• Maintain and document production and quality logs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety guidelines and stop/alert when needed.
