Job summary

Mueller Water Products in Kimball, TN is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon.–Thurs., 4x10). You will operate testing equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to safety and detail is essential, with opportunities to work with overhead cranes and power industrial trucks. The role supports final production testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools to inspect parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and position products/components as required.
• Safely move materials using overhead cranes and test equipment.
• Interpret test results per codes, standards, specs, or procedures.
• Read blueprints, data sheets, manuals to determine inspection and testing methods.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Assist in assembly of products as needed and maintain logs.
