ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paint Attendant (Machine Operator 3) is an advanced-level operator responsible for executing complex machine setups, optimizing equipment performance, and resolving high-level operational issues. This role demonstrates advanced proficiency, strong independent decision-making, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production challenges, ensuring consistent performance in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Advanced operators play a critical role in maintaining machine efficiency through troubleshooting, adjustment, and performance optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform advanced setup, calibration, and precision adjustments of machinery to meet detailed production specifications.
• Independently monitor and optimize machine performance to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, and process deviations using root cause analysis.
• Interpret detailed work orders, specifications, and technical data to execute production requirements accurately.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, including above shoulder height and below waist level.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to handle materials for extended periods.
• Ability to use PPE, hand tools, carts, dollies, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
