Job summary

Integrated Pain Management Medical Group, Inc. in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) for a full-time, onsite role.

You will provide direct psychological services to injured workers, including initial assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary pain management team. The ideal candidate holds California licensure (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC or psychologist), is bilingual in Spanish, and has experience with chronic pain,

Qualifications

• California Licensed LMFT or LCSW or LPCC OR California Licensed Psychologist.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
• Experience in assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions.
• Experience leading processing groups and/or psychoeducational groups preferred.
• Experience with CBT, Neuro Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-oriented interventions.
• Trauma background with ability to do EMDR is a plus.
• Familiarity working with chronic pain/trauma population, an integrated therapeutic approach is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic.
• Conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions for the outpatient FRP.
• Provide brief individual therapy to FRP participants and evaluate progress.
• Perform assessment and treatment planning for active caseload.
• Provide clinical care informed by best practices in pain psychology.
• Refer to other modalities within the clinic as needed.
• Document all client care in our EMR system.
• Provide clinical care that complies with legal and ethical standards.
• Assume other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs.
